Until now, ALL trips to Socotra are camping and tent- based. You stay in crowded public designated campsite, with shared toilets for all of the tour companies. This means many people (up to 50) sharing the same toilet and shower.

Land around noon, head to Creative Center for lunch, pack up and drive to the top of Homhil for the short walk down to the pools of Homhil for the afternoon. Return for the night to Hadibo to have dinner in the Coffee Shop, meet the women of the island, and relax in your own bedroom with attached bathroom.

Today we will explore the forest of the Dragon Blood Trees, with a picnic in the middle the forest after we arrive, and a short hike through the rocky hills. Then we will drive a short distance to Wadi Dirhir where we will walk through the water filled wadi and enjoy swimming at the end through small waterfalls and pools. Then we will drive back to Nuged for the night, arriving by sunset. Overnight: Nuged Bungalows or huts, as you like. Driving time: 2 hours Your stuff: pack your back to move to Nuged tonight.

The most gentle talkative camels you’ve ever met will be up to have breakfast with you. Then, we saddle up for our 1 hour trek to reach the farthest edge of the island, in the white sand dunes that look exactly like Zaheq, but with no people, campers or dune bashers anywhere in sight. After our tour, we will drive a short distance to an isolated pristine beach for the rest of the day, Get ready for some more beach time complete with some toys and body surfing and kayaking. Then we head back to Nuged for the night with dinner ready on our arrival. Overnight: Nuged Bungalows Driving time:Just the boat!

An incredibly rugged road will get us up to Wadi Kalisan! We will spend a few hours here before we have lunch and then head to the cave is incredibly interesting and a good hour and a half hike to reach, inside will be another hour full of incredible features that look like a cathedral! before driving back to the Creative Center.
