This trip is for hikers who want to do more challenging and longer hikes each day. These hikes are intermediate level.
Day 1: Bogdanovich Glacier Hike (6 hours)
Day 2: Kairak Waterfall Hike (4 hours)
Day 3: 3 Kolsai Lakes Hike (5 hours)
This is the shorter version 3 nights and 4 days with 2 nights in the island glamping tents.
A light trekking experience for new hikers looking to escape into nature and explore many different areas in Kazakhstan. Easy day treks of max 4-5 hours with minimal ascent/descent on very good trails of varied terrains. Waterfalls, lakes, and canyons! Stay in a glamping tent for one night in the middle of a rushing river and the other nights in a guest house with one night in Almaty.
We have added one day to this itinerary as per the group requests which include an additional night in the Glamping campsite but also visiting the nomads in a yurt and touring around the area.

All of the day hikes are meant to be fun and accessible for all but will be enjoyed most by those able to walk uphill for more than 3 hours. There are no technical parts, no steep hills. But it is planned to be a great workout by hiking for 3-5 hours.

Arrive late on the 22nd of August the night and spend the night in the hotel
Friday, 23rd August: 8:30 am and drive 30 minutes, take the cable car to the Bagdonovich Glacier. Return to hotel by 5 pm. Overnight in hotel.
Saturday, 24th pick up at a hotel, drive to Turgen gorge. Accommodation at our Turgen glamping site, hiking to the Kairak waterfall (5 hours). Back to the camp, overnight.
25th August: 6(7)-hours tour by the Assy Plateau, starts and ends at a camp. It is a real offroad. Will see the Turgen highland observatory located at Assy pass (3.000m ASL), meet the nomads and visit yurt, explore Scythian dolmens and burial mounds, ancient petroglyphs, wildlife, exciting panoramas. Lunch will be at a plateau in a form of a picnic. Drive back to almaty reaching by 5 pm.

We will Wizz Air from Abu Dhabi. Extra excursions can be arranged, and you can fly one day before or after if you would like to spend more time there.

The Bagdovich Glacier hike is a full day hike 5-6 hours.
Cost: 650 Dh Per Person
You will take the cable car to the start and then start hiking up to 3500 m to meet the glacier. There will be snow!
You will be picked up and dropped off by your guide and lunch will be provided.
